When you receive a notification from Oneflare saying a business has "quoted" on your job, it means they’ve expressed interest in the opportunity you’ve posted. However, this doesn’t always mean they’ve provided a fixed price upfront.

On Oneflare, a quote can include:

• A request for more information before providing a price

Some businesses prefer to first understand more about the job - for example, your availability, property details, or specific requirements before giving an accurate quote. This is especially common for jobs that may vary in scope or cost depending on certain details.
 

Why does the quote not appear in my inbox?

There are a few reasons why you may not see a price right away:

• The business sent an expression of interest instead of a detailed quote

• They may have included a message requesting more information

• The quote may be visible only after clicking through to view the business profile or message thread

What should I do next?

If you're interested in the business:

• Open the message in your Oneflare inbox

• Read any notes or questions the business has left

• Reply with additional details to help them provide an accurate quote
