I'm not receiving push notifications. How do I fix it? (Android)

If you're not receiving notifications, follow these steps for Android app users. For iPhone, see our iOS troubleshooting guide.

Step 1: Restart your phone

• Restarting your device may resolve notification issues.

Step 2: Troubleshoot notifications

• Tap You at the bottom of the screen.
• Select Notifications.
• Tap Troubleshoot notifications to diagnose issues.

This test will identify any notification setting problems.

Step 3: Check Google Play services settings

• Open the Settings app.
• Go to Application manager and find Google Play services.
• Ensure 'Show notifications' is enabled.

Step 4: Send us your logs

Gather logs from the Oneflare app and send them to us.

• Tap Profile at the bottom.
• Select the settings cog at the top right.
• Tap Notifications.
• Run the Troubleshoot notifications test.
• After the test, press ‘Send report’ and then ‘Send’.

Tip: Power-saving mode or performance optimisation apps may block notifications. Try disabling them or whitelisting Oneflare.
